Institute of Energy Engineering (IEE)
Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur
The IEE at DUET is
described as one of the newer/“neoteric” institutes of the university. It has
been established by the university syndicate as a “constituent research and
academic institute” with its own Board of Governors. The IEE focuses on fields such as clean
energy production, energy efficiency, energy conservation, energy storage,
energy management, and related topics in energy engineering.
The
Institute currently offers postgraduate programs, including:
- M.Sc. in Energy Engineering
- M.Engg in Energy Engineering
- Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Energy Engineering
These
programs are designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and
industrial practice, enabling students to gain both theoretical foundations and
practical insights into energy technology and management.
